KATHUA, Oct 5: To educate the people about the flying of drones in border areas as was recently found in Amritsar district of neighbouring Punjab, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel conducted an awareness programme on drones in a village of Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district near International Border (IB) today.
The BSF personnel who took part in the awareness programme while flying the drone in the air asked the villagers that in case they saw the drone hovering in the air in their area they must inform the BSF or police immediately so that they can take timely action to safeguard the country.
With the timely action the designs of enemy will be frustrated, the BSF personnel told villagers.
