BSF holds free medical camp at Ramgarh

SAMBA, Jan 17 : On behalf of the 176 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), a day-long free medical camp was organized in the frontier village of Kamor in which medical examination of people was held and free medicines were distributed among ailing persons.
In the camp, the health of about 400 marginal people was examined, which included the elderly, women, men and youth. The free medical camp was inaugurated by DIG, BSF, Hari Lal. Along with him, Commandant, Surindra Sirohi, Panchayat Keso, sarpanch Kuldeep Verma and other dignitaries attended and facilitated medical camp services. On this occasion, DIG Hari Lal said that just as BSF is providing safe and secure services to the people by taking care of the security of the borders, in the same way, BSF is also committed to complete its contribution in social services. In order to provide better healthcare to the marginalized people in a phased manner, free medical camps are being conducted and their health check-ups are being given treatment related medicines.
He said especially in this period of Corona epidemic, it is the need of the hour to provide health checkup and treatment medicines to the people of the villages adjacent to the border. At the medical camp, BSF doctors, Ashok Kumar, Priyanka Bharti and Dr. Samriti of Upjila Hospital Ramgarh examined patients and gave medicines to them. In this medical camp, the sub-medical staff of Hospital and BSF played an important role.
