SAMBA, July 6 : A Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan today allegedly shot himself dead at a post along the International Border in Samba district, officials said.
The incident took place at the border outpost (BoP) at Chilyari, a senior police officer said.
The soldier has been identified as Naresh Kumar, son of Kabul Chand of Haryana he said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem to District Hospital Samba.
The Samba police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
