BSF pays tributes to martyrs

JAMMU, Oct 21: Border Security Force (BSF) today paid tributes to martyrs, who had sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
The tributes were paid to the martyrs, in a function organized by 94 Battalion BSF at Indreshwar Nagar.
On the occasion, JC Singla, DIG BSF, Sector Headquarters Jammu was the chief guest and SR Khan, Second in Command 193 Battalion BSF was the guest of honour.
While speaking, Singla said that inspite of their present commitments on the border, they have not lost sight of their martyrs who have made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
Commanding Officer of 94 Battalion, GS Dhaliwal, said the objective of the function was to inspire the jawans and others about their duty and commitment.
Later, a plantation drive was also organized, in which Singla flanked by other dignitaries planted saplings.
