BSF recovers contraband near IB

CHANDIGARH, Apr 9:
Two packets of contraband suspected to be heroin were today recovered by officials of the Border Security Force (BSF) from the Daoke border outpost in Amritsar sector.
With this recovery, the BSF has so far seized 64.721 kg of heroin in this year till now.
“During a special search operation carried out by BSF troops today in between Border Security Fence and the International Border, two packets of contraband suspected to be heroin (approx. 250 gms each, total 500 gms) were recovered from fields ahead of Border Security fence,” said a BSF official.
