BSF SI dies in Mandi area

POONCH, Jan 12: A Sub Inspector of Border Security Force (BSF), died apparently due to cardiac arrest in Mandi area of Poonch district.
Official sources said that the deceased officer belonged to 32 Bn of BSF. He was deployed at FDL New Jabri area of Mandi in Poonch. During duty, he complained of some chest pain and was shifted to nearby Unit hospital where he died at about 7 pm on Wednesday. He was said to be died of cardiac arrest.
The deceased SI was identified as SS Nath, a resident of village Tikayetpur in Midnapur, West Bengal.
Station House Officer Mandi, Inspector Mukhtiar confirmed and said that his body was brought to Sub District Hospital Mandi where all legal formalities were conducted and then handed over to BSF officers of the concerned Unit.
