KISHTWAR, Aug 12: State owned telecom giant BSNL has launched mobile service at Machail Mata Mandir of Machail village in Padder, Sub-Division of Kishtwar.
The Machail Mata Mandir is located at an altitude of more than 7000 feet about the MSL and is in Machail village, one of the remotes villages in Kishtwar district, which lacks road and electricity connectivity.
Pilgrims take two days to reach Machail from the nearest base camp at Gulabgarh. More than 30 km mountainous trekking is required to reach the place. Thousands of pilgrims traveling to Machail temple during the yatra, will get benefit from this mobile connectivity.
According to Director (CM) BSNL Board, R K Mittal, BSNL is the only telecom company committed to customer social responsibilities and providing the services to its esteemed customer in these remote places.
