JAMMU, Jan 16: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced massive reduction in per minutes and per second call rate to its existing prepaid mobile services on PAN India basis with effect from today.
The reduced call rate is applicable on STV of Rs 42 (for per second plan) and on STV of Rs 88 (for per minute plan) for prepaid mobile customers.
In STV 88, with validity of 60 days call rate for Local/STD on net calls is reduced to 10 paise per minute and for Local/STD off-net calls to 30 paise per minute.
Similarly, in STV 42 with validity of 21 days, call rate for Local/STD on net calls is reduced to 1 paisa per 3 second while the call rate for Local/STD off-net is reduced to 2 paise per 3 second.
RK Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board, intimated that out tariffs are most competitive in the industry having largest network coverage. “Two new STVs have also been introduced as per industry trends”, he said adding that details of the STVs and new schemes are available on our website www.bsnl.co.in .
