JAMMU, Oct 22: Expressing serious concern over the war like situation on the International Border as well as Line of Control, Bahujan Samaj Party has appealed the Government to take care of the migrated families from forward areas owing to heavy shelling.
In a statement, State BSP president Tulsi Dass Langeh said that Government and local administration should come forward to ensure the safety of border residents, who are forced to migrate from their homes and hearths. Government should provide them food and other basic facilities till the situation normalizes on the border, he added.
The BSP leader alleged that the Pakistan leadership wanted to keep the Kashmir issue alive for their political survival and the ongoing tension on border was outcome of this dangerous approach of the neighbouring country.
Keeping in view of their hostile approach, there is no fun of holding peace talks with Pakistan and India must teach a lesson to the enemy, he said , adding that the New Delhi should settle the Kashmir issue once for all by liberating PoK.
The BSP leader also appealed the Kashmiri separatists, particularly the All Party Hurriyat Conference to leave aside their vested interests and think over the future of next generation.
