JAMMU, Mar 6: Bahujan Samajwadi Party, (BSP) candidates for Udhampur-Doda-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituencies have resigned from the party in support of BJP candidates on both the seats.
According a handout, Dr Liyaqat Ali Magray (BSP candidate from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua) and Jay Ram ( candidates from Jammu-Poonch constituency) have resigned from the party to support Dr Jitender Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Dr Ali said that the present political era was not of political parties but of political personalities and both these personalities were honest, dedicated leaders who would understand the problems of people.
He also appealed to all educated people to come forward and support these personalities.
