BSP celebrates birth anniversary of Kanshi Ram

JAMMU, Mar 15: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today celebrated the Birth anniversary of party founder, Kanshi Ram at village Chakroi, in Suchetgarh with great enthusiasm.
Raja Ram, Ex-MP and coordinator J&K was the chief guest while the function was presided over by Som Nath Majotra, president BPS J&K.
The venue of celebration was giving festive look being decorated with blue flags and hoardings depicting life struggle of great saints and gurus of downtrodden society. The function started with traditional lighting of candle lamp in front portrait of Kanshi Ram. Devotional songs were sung by the missionary activists.
Ex-MP Raja Ram spoke on the life and mission of M. Kanshi Ram and said that Kanshi Ram was born in 1934 in a poor family. With his hard struggle, service to the community and sacrifices, he rose up to the level of Messiah of downtrodden people in the country. Kanshi Ram came to the conclusion that rights enshrined in Constitution of India by Bharat Rattan Dr B R Ambedkar have deliberately not implemented because of Constitution went into the hands of protectors of casteism. These peoples do not want to equalise their self with downtrodden peoples.
Kanshi Ram vowed to evolve such a strategy to uplift the common man by using his voting right to capture power with which they can open any lock of political power to mitigate their suffering. Kanshi Ram’s formula showed his results and captured the Govt of Uttar Pradesh four times. Now, it has become a national movement which is now being lead by Kumari Mayawati. National president BSP, he added.
Charanjeet Chargotra vice president while speaking urged the Governor Manoj Sinha to resolve the recruitment scam as soon as possible so that youth of this UT can get employment opportunities.
Darshan Rana also spoke on the occasion. He requested the people to follow the footsteps of Baba Sahib BR Ambedkar.
Senior members Raja Singh, Hari Chand Thappa, Jawahar Singh, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Bishan Dass Bhagat, Tarsem Lal, Swarn Lata and others also spoke on the occasion.
