JAMMU, Jan 15: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) J&K here today celebrated the birthday of Mayawati-National BSP president and former CM of Uttar Pradesh.
Raja Ram, MP and BSP in-charge coordinator for J&K was chief guest on the occasion while S.R Majotra, president BSP J&K presided over the function.
Raja Ram highlighted the sacrifices and contributions of Mayawati in ameliorating miseries of poor masses of the country.
Daya Chand, S.R Majotra, Charanjeet Chargotra and others were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, BSP Mahila Wing organized a function to celebrate 67th birthday of BSP Supremo Mayawati.
Swarn Lata, senior BSP leader was the main speaker and she dwelt in detail about the life and political struggle of Mayawati.
“Mayawati has a long political journey and by dint of her passion and political will she emerged as one of the strongest woman leaders at national level,” Lata maintained.
Vandana Bharti, an active member of BSP Mahila Wing of Panchayat Chatha and others extended warm wishes for long and healthy life of Mayawati.
