JAMMU, Mar 17: BSP J&K president, Darshan Rana here today organized meetings with party workers at Greater Kailash, Ratno Chak and Gangyal and discussed the Panchayat and Municipal elections to be held in J&K.
Senior BSP leaders-Subhash Chandra, Madan Lal and Ashok Kumar along with others were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the meetings Darshan Rana said that announcement of Panchayat and Municipal elections in J&K can be made anytime and the party workers should be fully prepared for that.
“Panchayat elections are very important for the development of rural areas and in such a situation, development of rural areas can be possible only when better candidates are selected,” Rana maintained adding: “People in Urban areas also have problems which are not being solved and in such a situation the party will field better candidates in both these elections and will win.”
