BSP holds public meeting at Phallian Mandal

JAMMU, Mar 9: Bahujan Samaj Party organized a public meeting at Phallian Mandal, which was addressed by senior party leaders, including national general secretary Narinder Kashyap, State president Tulsi Das Langeh and Ch Gurman Singh.
In his address, Kashyap criticized the UPA Government for not working up to the expectations of the common people who were subjected to many problems.
Rich has become more rich and poor has become more poor thus widening the gap between different sections of the society, he said, adding that the ruling alliance was also responsible for triggering communal violence in the country for vote bank politics.
Mr Kashyap said that the time has come to defeat such political forces in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections by voting in favour of BSP candidate from Jammu-Poonch constituency, Ashok Bhagat.
Tulsi Dass Langeh, in his address, strongly condemned the NC-Congress Coalition Government for adopting vindictive attitude towards the weaker section of the society while issuing catch-up rule order.
He also highlighted the issues of West Pakistan refugees, who have been denied citizenship rights in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSP leader also criticized the BJP for cheap politics by trying to give an impression that other party candidates were supporting the party.
Other BSP leader, who addressed on the occasion, included R L Chalgotra, Rakesh Wazir, Ajab Singh Mottan, Som Nath, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, B.D Thappa and Jagdish Raj Verma.
