RS PURA, June 9: Bhaujan Samaj Party organized a workers meet for Suchetgarh Assembly segment under the chairmanship of Dr Harjeet Kumar, State secretary, at village Biaspur Parlah here today.
State president, Tulsi Dass Langeh was the chief guest while State vice-president, RL Chargotra and State treasurer, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, were the guests of honour.
While addressing workers, Langeh said that on one hand leaders of both NC and Congress said that elections of Urban Local Bodies and block development councils must be held to mitigate the sufferings of people and on the other hand their Coalition Government in the State is reluctant to hold the same by implementing 73rd and 74th Amendment of the Indian Constitution.
BSP leader further said that the PDP-Congress Coalition Government also during its three years regime has failed to hold elections of Block Development Councils.
Hence keeping in view their non-seriousness over the matter, such political parties should be uprooted in the forthcoming elections, Langeh said.
