JAMMU, Apr 3: A contingent of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders  comprising State president, Tulsi Dass langeh, general secretary, Rakesh Wazir, Candidate Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Ashok Bhagat, cashier, Rattan Lal Bhagat, Assembly president, Gardhari Lal and others took a tour of the Nagrota constituency and opened Party Office at Bain Bajalta Pargalta area.
The leaders held meetings with people at various places including Badsoo, Kah Pota, Kanyala, Sagoon, Surinsar and Bain Bajalta and apprised the people about the policies and programmes of the party.
Langeh while speaking at various meetings, said that BSP is the only party which fights for the cause of the poor and down trodden people and the time has come where people should realize the importance of their vote and bring the party in the power so that they may be able to fight their cause vigorously in the Parliament.
The people of this constituency are still struggling for the basic amenities like water, electricity, roads etc and the refugees have not got their right of citizenship even instead of passing of more than 65 years, despite the fact that the Constituency has mostly been represented by Congress or BJP candidates, said Ashok Bhagat.
Rakesh Wazir appealed the people to support BSP and vote in favour of their candidates so that party may become a major factor in the balance of power or able to form the next Government and redress the real problems of the people.
