JAMMU, Sept 4: With the approval of Kumari Mayawati, national BSP president, the party here today released a list of 15 candidates who will contest the upcoming Assembly elections in J&K for second and third phase.
The list contains the names of Satish Mohan who will contest from Reasi; Dr. Manohar Singh from Nowshera; Mohd Rafiq from Rajouri; Ishfaq Ahmed from Poonch Haveli; Raman Kumar from Jasrota; Sandeep Majotra from Kathua; Balbir Singh from Hiranagar; Baldev Raj from Samba; Raj Kumar from Vijaypur; Tilak Raj from Bishnah; Bishan Dass from Suchetgarh; Rajesh Gupta from Jammu East; Shak Mohd from Nagrota; Badri Nath from Jammu North and Jagdish Bhagat from Marh.
A handout of BSP stated that the list was announced in the presence of Raja Ram, ex-MP and Incharge, J&K and Himachal Pradesh; Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri, ex-MP and Incharge, J&K and Himachal Pradesh; Darshan Singh Rana, president BSP J&K, Gourav Gurbaksh, coordinator J&K; Charanjeet Chargotra, vice president BSP J&K; Shashi Bhushan Thappa, general secretary BSP J&K; Jagdish Verma, general secretary BSP J&K and all other senior UT leaders.
