BSP State president Somraj Majotra is dead

KATHUA, Nov 11: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) State president, Somraj Majotra died in a private hospital at Pathankot in neighboring Punjab today.
He was admitted in a private hospital at Pathankot after he fell down from the stairs at his residence Kathua and received grievous injuries. He succumbed to his injuries in the Hospital. He was 72 and survived by his wife and three sons.
Majotra was cremated at Kalibari cremation ground. A large number of people including leaders of political parties joined the funeral procession and gave a touching adieu to BJP J&K president.
The Party condoled the untimely demise of Majotra and prayed for the peace to the departed soul. BSP Supremo Mayawati and J&K Coordinator Dr Avtar Singh Karimpuri (former RS Member) also extended their condolences to the bereaved family of SR Majotra.
