JAMMU, Jan 8: Bahujan Samaj Party, J&K unit conducted public campaign in Marh and Jammu North today, in connection with the celebration of the birthday of party national president, Kumari Mayawati, being held at Bari Brahmana on January 15.
As a part of public campaign, BSP state president Darshan Rana visited Marh and Jammu North assembly constituencies today and held discussions with the party workers and middle -rung leaders. During his visit, a large number of party workers including senior Bahujan Samaj Party leaders Hari Chand, Jagdish Bhagat, Satpal and Bihari Lal Dogra were also present.
On this occasion, State president Darshan Rana sought the support and cooperation of the party workers from different areas of Jammu division for the celebration of the birthday of party leader Kumari Mayawati. He said that the public relations campaign will be continued further and discussions will be held with party workers regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections as well.
He said that Bahujan Samaj Party is continuously moving forward in Jammu and Kashmir and he is hopeful that the next government in Jammu and Kashmir will be of Bahujan Samaj Party because people are continuously joining the party and the policies of the party are in the interest of common man.
Rana claimed that the birthday of BSP president Mayawati is being celebrated on January 15 at Ambedkar Bhawan, located at Bari Brahmana. A large number of party workers are expected to participate in the function. He said former MP and State Coordinator of the party Raja Ram and Avtar Singh Karimpuria will be present as chief and special guests on the occasion.
