BSP to contest 2 MLC seats

JAMMU, Nov 12: State unit of BSP has decided to contest on two seats for the elections to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council seats from Panchayat constituencies.
In a meeting of the BSP state unit held here today, its president Tulsi Dass Langeh declared  that his party has resolved to contest two council seats from Jammu-I and Jammu-II.  Mr Langeh further declared that Dr Harjeet Kumar will be candidate from Jammu-I while retired Forester Ram Chand from Jammu-II.
The meeting also decided that 56th `Nirvan Divas’ of Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar will be observed on December 6. He asked the party activists to gear up their activities in the Jammu division.
