Mr Kashyap said that BSP will include this demand in the party manifesto in the coming Assembly elections in J&K and will forcefully project this demand. He pointed out that people from Jammu region had been alleging discrimination in all the fields, specially in development, sharing of funds besides jobs and granting  political power. Only separate state is the solution to this problem. He said all the like- minded groups and parties are welcome  and BSP will now lead the movement.
Replying to a question he said that BSP favours Union Territory for Ladakh region and trifurcation was the need of the hour. He pointed out that there should not be much problem to the Government as Civil Secretariat existed at Srinagar as well as in Jammu. No much money is involved.
