BSP to participate in LS, Assembly polls in J&K: Rana

JAMMU, Feb 22: State president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Darshan Rana has said that BSP will contest Upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing party workers’ meeting in Gharota area of Nagrota Assembly constituency today Rana discussed the organizations issues and claimed that Bahujan Samaj Party will participate strongly in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as well as the Assembly, Panchayat and Civic bodies elections.
Rana asked the party workers to gear up for these elections. He said party functionaries must reach the public at grass roots level and project their issues. He said BSP is the party of the common people and always talks about the rights of the backward and poor people of the society. He said BSP can contribute to the service of the people by winning maximum seats.
He said BSP is an ideology whose objective is to raise the voice of the backward and Dalit sections of the society. Lok Sabha elections can be announced any time, hence party workers should work cautiously from now onwards to strengthen the party and try to connect as many people as possible with the party through public relations campaign.
Addressing the meeting, BSP vice president Charanjit Chargotra said that the public relations campaign will be continued by the Party in the coming days and more and more people will be associated with the party.
On this occasion, a large number of BSP workers including Gani Aftab, Hari Chand Thapa, Satpal Bhaboria, Mohan Lal and Kartar Chand were present. Himmat Kumar, Bhagat Ram, Tara Chand, Pawan Kumar and Balwant Kataria also addressed the meeting.
