JAMMU, Sept 3: Whenever elections are held in Jammu and Kashmir, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will play a key role in forming the next Government in the Union Territory.
This was stated by Dr A S Karimpuri, Ex-MP and Coordinator of BSP for J&K UT, while addressing a public meeting at Suchetgarh Assembly Constituency. He said BSP is not just a political party but a movement with a well defined political agenda. He stressed on the need to strengthen the organization setup, approach common masses and address their grievances.
Speaking on the occasion, president of J&K BSP, S R Majotra asked the party workers to get ready for mass agitation for OBC community and their rights in the UT. Senior party leaders Bishan Dass also addressed the gathering.
Darshan Rana urged all people of J&K to come together and fight tooth and nail for their rights and for the holiday of Maharaja Hari Singh. He also demanded proper probe in the recent recruitment exams held In J&K which has serious allegations of corruption.
Along with this, he demanded reservation in jobs for local unemployed youths in development projects initiated across J&K. He expressed his concern over the increasing unemployment and alleged non- serious approach of Government to deal with the emerging situation.
Others in the meeting were Charanjeet Chargotra, Kuldeep Chalotra, Raja Singh, Tarsem Lal, Bishan Dass, Sham Lal and others.
