BSS distributes ration, medicines among needy

KATRA, June 16: Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) organised a programme in connection with distribution of ration, torches, medicines etc for the needy people in the premises of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Katra today.
The programme was organised in coordination with Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti and Sewa International Sanstha. On the occasion Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti treasurer Satish Mital and Prant incharge Pardeep Tripathi were also present.
The Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Katra Vidalaya president, Shiv Kumar Sharma , vice president, Mubarak Singh, Prabhandak Hemant Sharma, treasurer, Om Parkash and member Santosh Sharma besides the officials of the school and volunteers were present.
Maintaining all SOPs and guidelines of COVID a prayer meeting was also held. The Principal of the School Rajesh Sharma made the introductory address. On the occasion, Dr Vipin Sharma distributed the medicines on behalf of Ayush Ministry.
Addressing the function Subash Sharma informed that the School besides providing education to children the School is committed to serving the society during the time of any calamity.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Shiv Kumar Sharma president of the Bharatiya Vidya Mandir and the programme concluded with prayer.
