JAMMU, July 19: Budda Amarnath Yatra will be inaugurated from Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp from August 5 and the first batch will leave for Poonch on August 6.
This was informed by Bajrang Dal National Convener, Sohan Solanki while addressing a press conference here today.
He also said that last batch of the Yatra will leave on August 11 while the pilgrimage will remain there till the festival of Raksha Bandhan.
Solanki further said that this time the Yatra has been linked with all the historical, religious and other ancient places en-route while during return the pilgrims will also visit Shiv Khori shrine in Reasi district.
The Bajrang Dal leader said that this pilgrimage is there for the last 14 years and it gives a boost to the morale of minorities living in border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
On this occasion Vishav Hindu Parishad State working president, Rajesh Gupta said that thousands of pilgrims are expected in this year Budda Amarnath Yatra.
