POONCH, July 17: Dashnami Akhara Committee, Poonch today announced that annual Shri Budha Amarnathji Yatra would start from August 1.
In a meeting of the Committee which was attended by the representatives from Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Vishav Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and other local organizations besides prominent citizens, declared the yatra schedule from August 1 to August 12. The members reviewed the arrangements and also framed reception, langar and accommodation committees. They also urged the local administration to ensure better facilities for the pilgrims visiting Shri Buddha Amarnathji at Mandi.
Prominent among those present included S N Khajuria, Basant Ram, Manjit Kumar, Surinder Mishra VHP leader from Jammu, Devinder Kumar and Nishu Gupta.
