Jammu, Dec 9: The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met class 10th student, Nandini Dabgotra and signed a copy of her book “From Rural Roots to Academic Excellence and Social Advocacy”.
Nandini, a budding author and student of Shemford Futuristic School, Birpur, Jammu, said that she has tried to capture Lieutenant Governor’s leadership journey through her writing.
The Lieutenant Governor congratulated and extended his best wishes to Nandini for her future endeavours.
A delegation of Trikuta Nagar Traders Association, Jammu led by its president Abhinav Anand also called on Lieutenant Governor.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association, (JKATA) called on Lieutenant Governor.
The delegation led by Dr Surinder Radotra, president JKATA raised the issues faced by the association including the publication of final inter-seniority list of AEA’s at UT level for purpose of promoting JAEO’s to AEO’s.
Promotion through DPC of Incharge JAEO’s may be confirmed as JAEO’s substantively with retrospective effect to be determined from the due date w.e.f 1st April 2017, for both divisions Jammu/Kashmir.
Inclusion of rendered service as Rehber-e-Ziraat from 2007 on pattern per of SRO-202 and Rehber-e- Taleem and the pending cases under SRO-43.
The members of delegation further appealed to the LG to adjust the officers in class VII cadre like AEO and equivalent in CAD, horticulture, Floriculture and Sericulture.
This will help agriculture production department for boosting Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).
The LG gave a very patient hearing to the JKATA delegation and assured them that necessary instructions shall be passed on to the department for early settlement of burning issues of the agriculture technocrats.
