SRINAGAR, Oct 21: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has criticized the Rajasthan’s Mewar University administration for suspending 35 Kashmiri students who were protesting against the university for starting an unapproved course.
The agitating students told Bukhari that the university has not taken the necessary approval from the Rajasthan Nursing council (RNC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC) for its BSc Nursing course, putting their academic futures at risk.
In his statement, Bukhari urged the J&K administration to engage with the Rajasthan University authorities to resolve the issue of the students as soon as possible, allowing them and their parents to have a sigh of relief.
“The J&K administration must take up the issue with Mewar University in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, to ensure that the concerns of the protesting Kashmiri students are properly addressed,” Bukhari said.
“The administration must act quickly to resolve the issue as soon as possible in the interest of the career of the students,” demanded Bukhari.
