JAMMU, Apr 26: On Central Government’s assurance that maximum demands of the bullion traders will be redressed, the jewellers called-off their strike after remaining on strike for the second day today.
Talking to Excelsior over phone, Raman Suri, Chairman, Sarafa Association and Swarnkar Sangh Joint Action Committee Jammu Province said that a 20 members committee headed by All India Jewellers Action Committee (AIJAC).
During verbal talk, the Union Government assured the committee members that maximum issues included in the 39 points demands projected by the jewellers will be redressed and written orders in this regard will be issued shortly.
After the assurance, the bullion traders called-off their strike.
