SAMBA, May 29: Samba Police has arrested a burglar and recovered the golden ornaments, other precious items and cash from his hideout.
According to police a complaint was made in PS Samba by Sameer Sambyal S/o Sushil Singh R/o W.No. 02 Samba on May 18 at P/S Samba stating that when he and his family members were out of station, someone entered his house by breaking the locks and decamped with gold ornaments and other items. In this regard a case FIR No. 101/2017 U/S 457/380 RPC was registered at P/S Samba and investigation was taken up.
The police started investigation and a police party of P/S Samba led by ASI Mohan Lal in a close coordination with SHO Samba under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Samba made hectic efforts and rounded up a number of suspects. The police team was able to struck the clue and apprehended a thief namely Sunny Kumar S/o Mohan Lal R/o Pacci Mandi Samba and on his confession recovered golden ornaments and other stolen items from his possession.
The stolen items recovered from his possession included Necklace =03 Nos., Golden Tikka, one ., Ear Rings Gold ., six, nose pin, one . (total Gold weighing 105 gms) , Silver ear rings, four ( total Silver weighing 11 gms) , one Goggles Ray Ban, two Cameras (one of Olympis and other of Yashita) , three Moblile Phones, one Sewing Machine and cash Rs. 6000. The whole investigation was carried out under the overall supervision of Anil Magotra SSP Samba.
