Burglar held with stolen property

RAJOURI, Mar 7: The police arrested a burglar in Rajouri area and recovered stolen property worth lakhs from his possession.
Official sources said that a written application was lodged by one Khalid Hussain Shah, son of Gulzar Hussain Shah, resident of Kheora in Rajouri town, mentioning that he runs a well furnished service station at Baila Colony under the name and style ” Two Brothers Service Station” Rajouri and on the intervening night of March 3-4, some burglars broke opened the front door of the car service station and decamped with goods worth 4 lakhs which included grinders, polishing machines, car accessories etc.
On receipt of this application an FIR No 84/ 2024 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at Police Station Rajouri and a team under the supervision of SHO Rajouri Inspector Aejaz Ahmed Wani started investigation.
During investigation with the help of technical analysis, one suspect was lifted and during questioning he admitted the crime. On his disclosure all the stolen items worth over Rs 4 lakhs were recovered. The accused was identified as Raja Ather Hussain Mirza, son of Mohib-ul – Hassan Mirza, resident of Dhandkote, in tehsil Darhal.
