Burglars decamp with cash, metal pot from temple in Arnia

JAMMU, Aug 8: Unidentified burglars struck a temple in Arnia area of Jammu and decamped with cash and other valuable items.
Police said the thieves barged into a Shiv temple in Kool area last night and ran away with a donation box containing approximately Rs 10000 and a metal pot.
“After registering a case under the relevant sections of the law, we’ve detained some suspects on the basis of the information provided by the locals for questioning,” SHO Arnia, Inspector Rouf Khan told the Excelsior.
“We’re hopeful of a breakthrough in the case soon,” he said.
