SAMBA, Feb 24: The repeated burglaries have added to the woes of people in various areas of Samba district who are passing sleepless nights for past some days.
As per reports thieves again broke into a house in broad daylight today in Jatwal area and decamped with four Tolas of gold and Rs 6000 cash. According to the information received, Pinki Devi, wife Suresh Kumar, living near Jatwal Petrol Pump, said that the thieves broke into their house and stole the jewelry and cash kept in the Almirah.
A team of Ghagwal police visited the house of the incident and after taking stock of the situation, investigation has been started by registering a case against unknown people.
