Burglars decamp with goods, cash from four shops

SAMBA, Sept 17: Burglars have decamped with various consumer items and cash from four shops in village Nud of district Samba.
According to the information received this morning, some shopkeepers of the Nud lodged a complaint with the Samba Police that the thieves had decamped with goods worth thousands of rupees and cash from their shops after breaking the locks of their business establishments last night.

The shopkeepers said in their complaint to the police that Rs.5000 in cash and goods from the shop of Gopal Das , Rs.35,000 in cash from shop of Mukesh Kumar, Rs 55 from Photo Studio of Ramesh Kumar. Thousands of cash, a digital camera and pen drive and 36 thousand rupees in cash and 30 cigarette packets from the grocery store of Vijay Kumar.
The police immediately took cognizance of the matter and went to the incident site and collected other clues including fingerprints. In this context, further investigation is being held. However no arrest has been made so far.
