MENDHAR, June 19: Some unidentified thieves made an unsuccessful attempt of burglary at the Jammu Kashmir Gramin Bank in Dhargalon, Mendhar sub-division of Poonch district on the intervening night of June 18-19.
The matter came to light this morning when the bank staff arrived for their regular duty this morning. They noticed a big hole in the wall of the bank, which clearly hint of a possible burglary attempt by some unknown persons in the bank.
On being informed, a police team headed by SHO Gursai reached the spot and assessed the situation after which a case was also registered in the regard for further investigation.
