Burglary case cracked

SRINAGAR, Dec 19: Police have cracked a burglary that had occurred in a mobile phone shop in the Choon village of Budgam district.
A police spokesman while quoting SSP Budgam, Uttam Chand said that during the intervening night of December 17 and 18, a burglary took place in a mobile phone shop at Choon-Budgam. A case FIR NO: 356/2012 U/S 457, 380/RPC was registered in Police Station Budgam and the investigation of the case was started.
“The investigating team headed by SHO Police Station, Irfan Khan arrested a suspect Abid Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat resident of Choon-Budgam. On his sustained questioning, the stolen mobile phones and accessories including C-5, Chinese mobile phones and head phone chargers were recovered from his instance,” said the police spokesman. He said the investigation of the case is still going on, adding that more arrests and recovery of other stolen property is expected.
