Burglary case solved in Budgam, 2 accused held

Srinagar, Mar 3: Police in Budgam today said to have solved a burglary case and have arrested two accused persons involved in the commission of the crime and also recovering stolen property and cash.
A police spokesperson said that on 25-02-2021, Police Station Khansahab received a written complaint from one individual namely Mohammed Amin Shah son of Mohammed Sadeeq Shah resident of Khansahab regarding a burglary in his residential house.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 18/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Khansahab and an investigation was set into motion.
During the investigation, officers zeroed in one suspected person identified as Noor Mohammed Shah son of Mohammed Yousuf Shah resident of Khansahab, a driver by profession. During questioning, he confessed his involvement along with one more accomplice identified as Mukhtar Ahmed Shah son of Mohammed Yousuf resident of Khansahab in the commission of the crime and on their disclosure stolen property & cash have also been recovered. They have been arrested and shifted to the Police Station where they remain in custody.
Besides, two vehicles bearing registration No JK01N-0035 and JK01K-0565 have also been seized which were used in the commission of the crime.
