KISHTWAR, Feb 6: The Kishtwar police has worked out a sensational burglary case by arresting two thieves and recovering all burgled items including a cash of Rs 30,000.
According to Deputy SP Kishtwar, Abrar Chowdhary, a written complaint was received by police post Padyarana on January 15 from a man namely Janak Singh son of Paras Ram of village Tiallar, tehsil Nagsini (Kishtwar), that on the intervening night of January 13 and 14, some unknown miscreants had looted his shop in Padyarana bazar by breaking open the locks with iron blades.
Accordingly, a case FIR No 09/2018 under Section 457/380/RPC was registered in police station Kishtwar and investigations were taken up by ASI Mangat Ram under the supervision of SHO, police station Kishtwar, Inspector Sameer Jillani and Deputy SP Headquarters, Nihar Ranjan.
The Dy SP said that after hectic efforts police identified the two thieves namely Baber Hussain son of Naek Alam of Gujjar Basti (Padyarana) and Zakir Hussain son of Faqeeru of village Gourna (Nagseni) from a large number of suspects. After their confession, police arrested both the accused and recovered all the stolen property items including cash on their disclosure.
The stolen property items recovered by police include five mobile phones, one I-Pad, torches, mobile charges, mobile batteries, ear phones, etc.
