Burglary case worked out in 24 hrs, 2 arrested

JAMMU, June 10: Bishnah police worked out a burglary case within 24 hours by arresting two thieves.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by Krishan Lal, son of Gouri Shankar of Ward Number 11 with Bishnah police station stating that some unknown persons entered into the house and decamped with Rs 3.70 lakh by break open the locks of a trunk.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Bishnah police station and hunt was launched to arrest the thieves.
During investigation, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raids in several places and finally nabbed the thieves, who have been identified as Aman Kumar, son of Mohan Singh and Sachin Sharma, son of Billu Ram, both residents of Sarore.
On their disclosure, recovery of Rs 1,31,500 has been made as rest of the amount has been spent by them.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Prithpal Singh solved the burglary case and made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
