Burglary case worked out, stolen property recovered

JAMMU, July 17: In a swift operation, Police in Jammu District have successfully solved a burglary case, recovering stolen property worth Rs1,30,000.
The incident came to light on July 13, 2024, when Rajeev Gupta, a resident of Residency Road, Jammu, reported the theft of valuable items including an iPhone 15+, a drilling machine, and a microwave oven from his residence.
Acting on the complaint, a case FIR number 41/2024 was promptly registered at Police Station City Under Sections 331(4) and 305(1)/BNS.
The investigation was led by PSI Parshotam Kumar, Incharge of Police Post Residency Road.
On July 17, 2024, the investigation team, under the leadership of SHO City Jammu and with the support of the Residency Road Police Post, recovered the stolen items. The breakthrough came after the accused, Nitin Khokher of Christian Colony, Jammu, disclosed the whereabouts of the stolen property.
The recovery included an iPhone 15+, a microwave oven and a drilling machine, collectively valued at Rs 1,30,000.
