Burglary in Gurudwara: Sikhs demand immediate arrest of culprits

JAMMU, Mar 27: An emergency meeting of Kashmir Sikh Sangat was held here today under the chairmanship of president of the organization, for expressing shock and anguish over the purported incident of burglary in a Gurudwara at village Khampura Sarie, District Budgam, Kashmir.
The meet strongly condemned the action of anti social elements and impressed upon the authorities to take strong action against the culprits as they have hurt the sentiments of Sikh community.
The meet also demanded that the security should be beefed up at all the religious places across the Valley to avoid such incidence in future.
The meeting was attended by Manjeet Singh, Baboo Singh, Balbir Singh, T P Singh, Er K N Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Sukhdev Singh, G S Reen and others.
Meanwhile, a protest demonstration was also held by some Sikh students at the Jammu University, who demanded strong action against the guilty involved in purported incident of the burglary.
The protest was held under the leadership of Aman Cheema Singh, who appealed Government for immediate arrest of the culprits.
