JAMMU, Mar 27: In a remarkable initiative taken by the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust to facilitate spiritual fulfillment, this time on the request made by Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister, Trust has facilitated a group of devotees for taking dip in Holy Ganga Maiya ji in Haridwar.
The Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust has made their boarding and lodging besides food arrangements in its Haridwar Bhawan and in addition also arranged “Yoga Shivir Camp”, said Pawan Kumar Shastri, President of the Trust.
However, with amidst chanting of Vedic Haven, Pooja Archana performed in “Sankat Mochan PanchMukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Complex of the Trust situated in B.C Road Jammu, the batch of devotees was sent for Ganga Darshan on a special bus which was flagged off by Pawan Shastri, President of the Trust, on behalf of Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister.
Before the departure, all 50 devotees were served refreshments (one packet of food and one bottle of water). Shastri, extended his heartfelt wishes, urging them to embrace the pilgrimage as an opportunity for spiritual cleaning and self- purification. He emphasized the significance of Holy Ganga Darshan. He also reiterated that this was not merely a travel experience, but a profound step towards attaining inner peace and enlightenment, a step towards spiritual awakening and divine blessings.
The flag off ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities including Gurdas Sharma Treasurer/Trustee of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, (Jammu/ Haridwar), Raj Kumar Gupta Trustee Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Ajay Sharma, S.P. South, Jammu, Agrezoo Ram Sharma (P.R.O of Satish Sharma), Sham Lal Shastri, Sukhdev Sharma WCM JYBT, Rajesh Rakwal, Private Secretary to President, Rashpal Sharma, Engineer Of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust and Raj Kumar, General Manager, Head office, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust.
