DODA, Mar 9: A bus with no passenger onboard plunged into Chenab river near Gadsoo area here today.
As per police sources, a bus plying on Assar-Kishtwar road skidded off road and fell into deep gorge and later got submerged in the Chenab river near Gadsoo area.
Only driver was present in the bus who jumped out of vehicle and is safe, sources said, adding that no more passenger was present in the vehicle.
A senior Traffic Police officer said that no passenger was present in the vehicle and driver too jumped out of the vehicle and is safe.
However, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Thathri and investigation started.
