POONCH, Feb 6: An incident of reckless driving has surfaced, following the circulation of a video on social media depicting dangerous driving and racing between two private buses in Poonch.
This video has raised significant alarm among local residents and authorities.
In response to this incident, the Transport Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, took immediate action. Under his directive, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Poonch, along with his team, conducted vehicle inspections in the area.
As a result of these inspections, one of the offending vehicles has been traced at Suranakote and seized. The vehicle is currently being held at the Suranakote Police Station. Efforts are ongoing to locate the second vehicle involved in the incident.
