JAMMU, Feb 28: The shopkeepers of Gangyal Market elected Suresh Mishra (Pappu) as the president of Gangyal Shopkeepers Association.
On the occasion, former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria honoured the newly elected Shopkeeper Association President Suresh Mishra (Pappu) and members with Mata’s Chunari to wish them all the best for doing good work in the future. Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the business class plays an important role in strengthening the economic condition of the country and the business class contributes a lot in the taxes collected by the Government. Billawaria informed the members of the Shopkeeper Association about the Vishkarma Scheme. He said that the Vishkarma scheme is helpful for small traders and inspired them to take advantage of it. He further said that the scheme used to be started in the previous Governments also but it remained confined to the Government offices.
He said under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, every scheme came on the ground and every section is getting its benefit. He also said that the Modi Government has brought many schemes for every section which will benefit the deserving people. He urged the members of the Shopkeeper Association that along with giving the material to the customers they should also make them aware about the schemes so that the benefits of various schemes run by Modi Government can reach the common people.
Billawaria assured the members of the newly elected Shopkeepers Association, that he will be available to solve every problem of the traders. Newly elected Shopkeeper Association, president, Suresh Mishra (Pappu) said that all those works will be done for the benefit of the traders which will be good for the progress and prosperity of the market.
Gangyal Shopkeeper Association president, Suresh Mishra appointed Rakesh Sharma as vice president, Dev Raj as cashier, Prince Gupta, Rahul Kumar, Himmat Sharma, Swarn Kumar, Suresh Kumar as members of the Association.
