REASI, Jan 2: Deputy Commissioner Reasi has directed all the business establishments at Katra and Ransoo to disclose details of the employees/helpers engaged by them.
Besides, the Deputy Commissioner has also directed all the business establishments in district Reasi to install CCTVs in their business premises within stipulated time.
Two separate orders in this regard were issued today by DC Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan.
According to an order, all the owners of the Hotels, Guest Houses, Restaurants, Dhabas, shopping malls and other commercial establishments at Katra and Ransoo are required to furnish the details of their employees to their respective Police Stations and concerned Tehsildars within a period of 21 days.
Pertinent to mention that Katra and Ransoo are base camps for the holy shrines of Mata Vaishno Devi and Shiv Khori, respectively, wherein large number of pilgrims from different parts of the country visit every day. As per the order, the instruction has been issued as preventive measure for the safety of the public and the pilgrims visiting the holy shrines.
In a separate order for the safety and security of the general public, the Deputy Commissioner Reasi has directed the owners of Hotels, Guest Houses, Restaurants, Dhabas, Shopping Malls and other commercial establishments in district Reasi to install CCTVs in their business premises within a period of 21 days.
Both the orders also warn that any contravention of the directions over installation of CCTVs and disclosure of details of the employees shall attract legal consequences Under Section 188 of the IPC.
