LOS ANGELES, July 9: Actress Erica Durance has come on board The CW’s super series “Supergirl”.
The 39-year-old actress has joined the cast for a recurring arc and will be taking over the role of Alura for Laura Benanti in season three, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Unfortunately Laura, who Greg (Berlanti) and I have worked with for years going back to Eli Stone, was unable to continue in the role due to work commitments in New York,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said.
“But we are so blessed that Erica has come aboard to offer her own interpretation of Kara’s mother.”
Durance recently wrapped Canadian drama “Saving Hope”. (PTI)
