JAMMU, Mar 2: in order to celebrate ‘Guru Vandan Chaatr Abhinandan’ a programme was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) East Branch here today.
Programme commenced with lightning of traditional lamp followed by Vande Matram.
Ved Prakash Padha welcomed the esteemed members, teachers and students. Students of S. D. Sabha sang Guru Vandana.
Er. Gopal Sharma highlighted about five points followed by BVP and values of sanskars.
Students of all schools preached their teachers by wearing garlands and touching their feet.
Students from seven schools namely, DBN Mubarak Mandi School, S. M.Jain School, Luthra Academy, Environmental School, Oriental Academy School, S.D.Sabha School and Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School were honoured.
The program concluded with slogans and National Anthem.
Among others who graced the event included Shiv Ram Sharma, Jyotsna Sharma, Ved Parkash Padha, Nandni Shukla, and Pooja Sharma.
