JAMMU, Sept 15: Former J&K Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam has been appointed as Chairman & MD Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) while Additional Chief Secretary, J&K UT, Vivek Bhardwaj was posted as new Secretary Mines, Government of India.
Official sources said that former J&K Chief Secretary, Subrahmanyam and presently posted as Secretary, Department of Commerce, Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Trade Promotion Organization on contract basis for a period of two years in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India upon his superannuation on September 30, 2022.
Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Jammu and Kashmir, Vivek Bhardwaj has been posted as Secretary Mines in Government of India, sources added.
