SAMBA, Apr 26: Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association (BWA) held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of RL Kaith.
The Association urged the Government to take immediate decision for the establishment of AIIMS at Jammu region.
The Association also appealed to the Union Government to sanction an additional AIIMS for Kashmir Valley.
The Association members said that there was a prime need to set up an AIIMS in the State as its poor and hapless people can not afford to go to New Delhi for seeking the specialized treatment.
